Renovation
and conversion of the historical Levi’s building at 250 Valencia
Street to accommodate the new building expansion of the San
Francisco Friends School . The existing building, built in
1906, is a wood-frame building with three floors above grade
totaling approximately 88,000 square feet. The project is
an adaptive re-use of the existing Levi’s manufacturing facility
for new use as a co-educational facility (kindergarten through
eighth grade) for 400 students. Work includes seismic bracing,
accessibility improvements, interior build-out and gymnasium
addition.
